Freud had stated that “words were originally magic”.

Wittgensteinian scholars and the founders of 'Solution Focused Brief Therapy' Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg also share this view.

When words perform their magic, they have power to create new worlds. It is the therapist`s job to facilitate the talk throughout the therapy process to make the client build the solutions and reconnect with their resources.

This webinar will include an emphasis on the understanding of Solution Focus Approach and its principles. It is quite essential to understand what position this approach gives to the therapist in the session room, and the therapist has an attitude that also defines the way he/she ask the questions.

Therefore, a Solution Focus practitioner is supposed to have several therapeutic skills. These therapeutic skills of a Solution Focus Practitioner will be presented. And there are many questions designed to build the preferred future of the client. These questions and their underlying rationale will be presented in this talk with the examples.
