11-13 July, Cumberland Lodge, Windsor
Following our incredibly successful 30th anniversary conference in 2017, the 2018 POWES conference brings further reasons to celebrate. Following a successful name change ballot, the Psychology of Women Section (POWS) is now the Psychology of Women and Equalities Section (POWES). Our name has changed, but our aims and purpose have not. The 2018 POWES conference will showcase feminist scholarship in a collegiate and friendly environment, and warmly welcomes anyone interested in research on gender and sexuality related topics, at any stage of their career.
With the broad overarching theme of Equalities tying together keynotes and papers, we look forward to a diverse range of submissions around the following topics: theorising feminisms, non-binary constructions of gender, identities, masculinities, parenting, sexual violence and exploitation, sexualities, mental health, health, qualitative/critical methodologies, social justice, activism, race, disability, class and intersectionality.
We look forward to welcoming you to POWES 2018!
