This webinar will explore practical guidance on how to develop and deliver effective workplace health and wellbeing programmes.

Timed to complement the launch of the new BPS publication ‘Wellbeing at Work: A Guide for Occupational Psychology Practitioners’, (a copy of the publication will be provided upon registration) the event will provide an overview of how best to apply the latest health and wellbeing research in the field.

Specific areas of interest will include:

  1. Good management 
  2. High quality work 
  3. The social environment
  4. Workers who are struggling 
  5. The promotion of health and well-being initiatives

Target Audience

This webinar has been designed primarily for:

  • Those in training to become occupational psychologists (including students)
  • Newly qualified occupational psychologists
  • Experienced occupational psychologists who are new to the topic of wellbeing

The event will consider the importance of good management, high quality work, the social environment, addressing workers who are struggling and promoting health and wellbeing initiatives. 

We will offer specific advice for implementing a range of actions based on latest evidence and practical considerations. When combined, these will provide comprehensive coverage of psychological principles-based actions. Learning outcomes will include a basic understanding on:
1.    The prevention of health and wellbeing problems
2.    The promotion of health and wellbeing lifestyles
3.    Targeted support for those experiencing health and wellbeing problems and other related issues
