The 2020 DCP East of England Branch is pleased to announce our Annual Conference.

This year's theme is: ‘Mental Health and Neurodevelopmental Presentations: Working Therapeutically Across the Lifespan’.

For further details of our speakers this year, please see the 'Programme' tab.

This event is aimed at clinical psychologists working in all settings across the East of England, and aims to share research and clinical experience amongst the membership as well as allow opportunities for those in the region to meet and network.

Our day will also include with the DCP East of England Branch Annual General Meeting – your opportunity to contribute and influence our direction for the coming year. All members are welcome to attend!

Girton College,
Huntingdon Rd,

*Please note that traffic can be very congested in Cambridge in the mornings – we strongly advise that you allow plenty of time for travel to ensure that you don’t miss a moment!

Event Location:

Our programme this year includes a range of talks about how clinical psychologists may work with neurodevelopmental complexities across the lifespan and in a range of service contexts.

Our keynote speakers include Dr Ayla Humphrey, who will speak about diagnostic issues for neurodevelopmental conditions in children and young people; Dr Charlotte Flackhill and Dr Sarah James presenting on the Coventry Grid Interview and its utility in differentiating between the relative contributions of autism spectrum conditions and attachment difficulties in work with children; Dr Janine Robinson, who will speak about adapting practice and making services accessible for people with neurodevelopmental conditions or other additional needs; and Dr Sarah Blainey, who will present on adapting psychological interventions for adults with autism spectrum conditions.

For the first time in 2019, we are excited to be accepting submissions for quick-fire presentations to be delivered within the conference programme, so that Branch members may share examples of the fantastic and innovative research and clinical practice taking place in our region.

Submissions are now closed.
