The QMiP Conference Committee are pleased to anounce their biennial conference taking place on 5-7th July 2017 in Aberystwyth.

Confirmed Keynotes:

Dr Carla Rice, Professor and Canada Research Chair, University of Guelph, Ontario

Dr Peter Branney, Leeds Beckett University
Professor Celia Kitzinger, University of York

The conference is an opportunity to showcase new research, discuss qualitative methods and hear experts in the field discuss their work.

In addition to standard oral and poster presentation opportunities and international keynote speakers, the conference will offer opportunities for discussions on how qualitative researchers can survive and thrive REF2021, a ‘methods hour’ to discuss developments in methods such as thematic analysis, IPA, discourse analysis and visual methods; and workshops designed to support qualitative researchers improve their practice.

Hosted by Aberystwyth University in a beautiful seaside town, the conference aims to provide a safe and exciting space for qualitative researchers to enjoy and develop their craft. We look forward to seeing you there.

Fancy a dolphin tour?

There is a dolphin spotting boat trip on the morning of Saturday 8 July. This trip is likely to cost £20, depending on numbers and take half a day.

To register your interest please email Joseph Keenan by 1st June 2017. Once numbers are known Joseph will contact you with the exact price, then if you want to go ahead payment will be needed to secure your place.
