This masterclass will cover the overlap between autism and mental health problems in adults.
Delegates would be expected to already have a good baseline knowledge of what autism is and how it typically presents.
We will cover common comorbidities such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Recently there has been considerable interest in links between autism and eating disorders, borderline personality disorder and gender dysphoria, and these areas will be covered as well.
We will also look at hints and tips for working with autistic service users and making reasonable adjustments.
To be announced.
