The theme of the conference is: ‘The value we bring

DOP Conferences attract delegates and speakers from around the world, showcase new research and practice, and create opportunities for discussion about developments across the different areas of occupational psychology.

With invited keynotes each day, and workshops, oral papers, symposia, bite size symposia, panel discussions and posters,  DOP 24 has much to interest practitioners and academics at all career stages.

During  the conference, the Institute of Work Psychology,Sheffield Hallam University, will host: Wellbeing at Work: The Peter Warr Memorial Conference Stream with a special focus on exploring key concepts or models of employee wellbeing, examining different causes or consequences of wellbeing at work; evaluating wellbeing interventions.

This will run alongside  other conference streams including:

  • Psychological Assessment at Work
  • Learning, Training and Development
  • Leadership, Engagement and Motivation
  • Work Design, Organisational Change and Development

Sheffield’s industrial heritage provides an interesting backdrop for a conference about occupational psychology and in addition to the scientific programme, DOP24 will bring people together socially and create space for networking.

Conference Dinner 

The conference dinner is an additional charge of £38, which includes a 2 course buffet meal, wine and soft drinks. This will be held on Thursday 16th May at the Crowne Plaza, Sheffield. 

Networking Event

The Networking Event is an additional charge of £12. The Networking Event will take place on Wednesday 15th May at Kelham Island Museum, Alma Street, Sheffield, S3 8RY. A finger buffet will be provided.
