Conference bursaries are available to support early-career psychologists in the UK to attend (physically or virtually) any academic conference, either in the UK or internationally, relevant to the applicants work.
Early-Career Conference Bursary Scheme
Each bursary consists of up to £250 (UK) or £500 (international) to contribute towards the costs of registration and travel (if applicable) to attend the full conference.
All applicants must be members of the Society.
There are two rounds of the scheme each year:
- The April round is open from 1 January and all applications must be received by 1 April
- The October round is open from 1 July and all applications must be received by 1 October
Applicants may only submit one bursary application per round.

Please note: For the purposes of the bursary scheme, we define an early career psychologist as a person who is within eight years of completion of their doctoral degree or practitioner doctorate in psychology.
