Schools & Colleges Psychology Teaching Award
This award recognises outstanding performance in psychology education in schools and colleges.
The criteria are meant to be broad to encompass all aspects of psychology teaching at pre-tertiary level in all settings.
Winners will receive a commemorative certificate and attendance at a relevant Society conference.
To qualify for nomination, candidates must:
- teach mainly psychology at pre-tertiary level
- be outstanding teachers of psychology
- have inspired teachers and colleagues
- engaged their students with the discipline
- have made a significant sustained contribution to psychology teaching
Nominations are accepted from students, teachers, Heads of Department/Institution, governors. Self-nomination is permitted. Heads of Departments or Heads of Institution must support the submission by means of providing a reference.
