Postgraduates

The Research Board is keen to ensure support for postgraduate research students in Psychology. This is achieved through a number of ways:

- Award and Grant schemes (including the Postgraduate Study Visits scheme and the Joint Award with the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology)

- Postgraduate representation on the Board and its Standing Committees and Steering Groups

- Support for the Psychology Postgraduate Affairs Group (PsyPAG). The Board provides an annual grant to the Group to support its activities in supporting all postgraduates in Psychology.

Postgraduate Research in Psychology: A Guide

The Board has produced a guidance booklet for anyone considering pursuing postgraduate research in Psychology. It covers everything from choosing a university and a supervisor, to potential sources of funding, through to submission of your thesis and preparation of your viva.
