Public Engagement

The P&C Board's aim is to undertake sustainable public engagement activity, as part of the Society's strategy of 'Taking Psychology to Society'.

Specific activities organised include: the development of a grants scheme for members and subsystems to allow them to organise ‘public engagement’ projects; an annual joint lecture with the British Academy; joint day seminars with the Nuffield Foundation; joint events with the Dana Centre (part of the Science Museum); and in conjunction with EMAP, the production of an psychology-based supplement to the Top Sante magazine, Happy New You.
