This document identifies the activities associated with the delivery of high-quality cognitive and behavioural therapy and the competences required to achieve these. It describes a model of the relevant competences and discusses how this should be applied by practitioners, its advantages for clinicians, trainers and commissioners and the uses to which it can be put.
