Mathematics, Statistics and Computing Section

By Martin Le Voi (Chair, Mathematical, Statistical and Computing Section)

The Mathematical, Statistical and Computing Section has had a quiet year. The main event was a Scientific Meeting in London on the 15 December at Keele University. Three papers were presented, and the scientific meeting was followed by its AGM, at which David Clark-Carter was elected as the new Section Chair. The section has agreed to actively support a Postgraduate Day in 2008 in conjunction with Psychology Postgraduate Affairs Group (PSYPAG), aimed at covering advanced statistical topics.
