Division of Sport & Exercise Psychology Inaugural Conference 2008

Your are invited to attend the inaugural conference of the Division of Sport & Exercise there will be an exciting mix of submitted papers, invited workshop/ symposia sessions and keynote presentations with confirmed speakers:

As well as the above there will be a dedicated poster session combined with the wine and canapé reception with plenty of time to network and make contacts with like-minded colleagues and to browse the exhibition stands.
SUBMITTING YOUR WORK
The application of psychology to sport and exercise settings is a relatively new field, which is rapidly developing and expanding. This branch of psychology is concerned with understanding the behaviour, mental processes, and well being of people who are involved in sport and exercise. We would welcome empirical, theoretical and experiential submissions in the following formats, Individual Papers, Symposia, Workshops and Posters. European network for the promotion of health-enhancing physical activity, will
be hosted by the Scottish Physical Activity Research Collaboration (SPARColl) at
the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland. The event will be
co-sponsored by the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Scottish Government.
