Educational Psychology In Scotland
The Scottish Division of Educational Psychology (SDEP) produces the publication Educational Psychology in Scotland. The SDEP Executive committee has recently agreed to change publication practice to meet the needs of our members more effectively, and to take full advantage of the Society's improved online facilities.
We therefore intend to produce 2 different publications. Firstly a newsletter, which will focus on sharing information about current issues of importance for practising educational psychologists - for example, matters relating to registration; training of EPs; Scottish Government consultations; book reviews; conferences; membership information and other topical written pieces which it is important for members to access promptly. Secondly, a publication which will be broadly similar in style and content to the current Educational Psychology in Scotland.
Our next edition of EPIS will be published on-line shortly, and will be a collation of articles with an editorial overview. This will be free for all members to access from the online shop.
All members of the SDEP will continue to receive a paper copy of a collation of the year's articles on an annual basis as part of their membership subscription, as well as the Journal of Education and Child Psychology which is produced by the Division of Child and Educational Psychology.
The newsletter will be published several times a year, both on-line and as hard copy sent free to all members. Links to the publications via the online shop will be added as soon as available.
