The facility, based in Carlisle, will provide psychological services, together with occupational and speech therapy to help the rehabilitation of people who have suffered brain injury. Meanwhile, despite the efforts of local campaigners, the Henderson Hospital in Surrey - recognised internationally for its services for people with personality disorders - closed in April owing to a lack of referrals.
