Editor vacancies
The new partnership with Wiley-Blackwell commenced on 1 January 2011 and offers our Editors the opportunity to build upon the success of our journals in collaboration with a global publisher. The aims of the partnership are to enhance the global profile of our journals, develop each journal to be an international leader in its field, and provide enhanced support to each journal editor.
We are seeking candidates with a strong research background and significant publishing experience to lead editorial boards, contribute to editorial policy development and work with the Wiley-Blackwell team for the following journals:
- British Journal of Psychology
- British Journal of Educational Psychology
- British Journal of Health Psychology
- British Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology
- Journal of Occupational and Organisational Psychology
The term of office is 3 years with the option of extension for a further 3 years. The posts carry an annual honorarium.
If you wish to be considered for one of these posts, please submit: a CV outlining your publication record and any previous editorial experience; a brief statement of how you would wish the journal to develop; and a statement indicating how you would wish to establish an editorial board to support this development. Joint submissions are welcomed but should include an indication of how responsibilities would be divided.
Your submission will be considered by the Editorial Advisory Group (Lead editor: Professor Andy Tolmie; Convenor: Dr Graham Powell), who will make recommendations to the Publications and Communications Board.
