Autism and Criminal Justice System
The Autism and Criminal Justice System Network was set up in October 2012 and aims to promote and facilitate the transfer of research-based knowledge between specialist psychologists, Criminal Justice System (CJS) professions, policy makers, intermediaries, clinicians, independent law professionals, lay advocates and autism charities.
The research-based information on this website is intended to provide general information on characteristics associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder. There is wide variation in the manifestation of such disorders and the information on this website should not be used in any circumstances as a substitute for, or as the basis, of assessment of individuals.
