National Assessors Members AreaNational Assessors JournalThis part of the website provides access to an Assessors Journal which has been devised specifically for National Assessors to keep information regarding each assessment conducted.Purpose of the log
The main purpose of this log is to provide records of assessments for the Assessor's own personal use but also to provide an ongoing audit and analysis of National Assessors' activities as a group. Reports will be produced centrally for the purpose of monitoring the work load of National Assessors. This information will allow us to consider areas for recruitment and the overall spread of work conducted by Assessors. What to record
Details of the assessment undertaken should be recorded (note
that certain fields are obligatory, such as date and title of
assessment, otherwise there is space to record your comments). This is
a log and each item will have a unique reference number. However, names
of interviewees concerned should not be recorded due to the Data
Protection Act. For legal reasons separate detailed interview notes
should be retained by the Assessor for up to two years post interview.
