How the Society can help with CPD

The Society provides two methods to record your CPD:

• The Online Planning & Recording System
• MS Word CPD templates
  

Telephone training sessions can be provided to help members use the CPD Online Planning & Recording system. Sessions last approximately 30 minutes. To arrange a session please call the CPD helpline on: 0116 252 9916 or email cpd@bps.org.uk.

Examples of how CPD activities might be recorded are available at www.bps.org.uk/cpd-homepage, or in hard copy on request.

Helpline. The Society’s CPD helpline (0116 252 9916) is open Monday to Friday between 0900 - 1700.

CPD queries can also be sent via email (cpd@bps.org.uk) or post and we aim to respond within 5 working days.

The Society offers various other ways to help you keep up-to-date. These include:

• The Psychologist - The Society's monthly magazine - news, reviews, features and more. The Psychologist also operates a discussion forum

• Research Digest - The Society's free research digest email service rounds up the latest research.

• Publications - There is an array of different publications (e.g. journals and newsletters) produced by divisions and other Society subsystems.

• Blackwell Publishing - The Society works in partnership with Blackwell Publishing to ensure the delivery of an essential range of books for those seeking information on the latest psychology practices, research and methodology.
