Welcome to the 2009 POP Annual Conference
Building on the success of the 2008 event, the next POP Conference will precede the DOP Annual Conference. The event offers an exciting mix of skills workshops, networking opportunities and postgraduates presentations focussing on their research. Confirmed keynote speakers include:
- Professor Cary Cooper CBE. Professor of Organisational Psychology and Health, Lancaster University, Management School
- Professor Alex Linley, PhD, Cpsychol. Director, Centre for Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) Visiting Professor, University of Leicester
- Professor Beverley Alimo-Metcalfe
This year the event will take place at the Hilton Blackpool. This Lancashire seaside town is situated along the coast of the Irish Sea.
It's a town full of firsts: taller, faster rollercoasters, bigger clubs, even the biggest mirror ball in the world plus world-class shows, cosmopolitan restaurants, vibrant nightlife, an active sports scene and breathtakingly beautiful scenery on Blackpool's doorstep and not to forget the famous Golden Mile & Blackpool Tower.
