POP Facts:
- The Postgraduate Occupational Psychology Conference was relaunched in 2004 and is evolving as an important date for postgraduates - in 2007 the event sold out with demand exceed supply.
- The event’s main aim is to provide a forum in which postgraduates are able to present their research and have the opportunity to attend skills workshops and networking sessions.
Target Market:
- The POP Conference hopes to attract up to 150 delegates.
- The majority of delegates will be 2007 graduating UK MSc students many of whom will be job hunting.
- There will also be current MSc and PhD students attending.
JOINT EVENT:
This is the second year the DOP event will be preceded by the POP Conference. The POP Conference is supported by the Division of Occupational Psychology as part of their commitment to supporting the new generation of psychologists. The 2007 joint event was very successful - a larger venue has been chosen to allow for further growth.
