Welcome to the North-West Branch

Welcome!

You are at the website of the North West of England Branch of the BPS. If you are a member of the BPS within the north west region, you are automatically a member of our Branch.

The aim of our website is to give you a clear picture of what we are here to do (view mission statement) and to keep you up-to-date with our activities. We are involved in a range of activities and the Committee meet six times a year. We are developing a new section on the website(view 'Highlights of the last meeting') designed to provide a little insight into what is happening in the background. One of the main objectives of the Branch is to organise events for our members (view events). You can also find our events advertised in the Subsystems Notices section in The Psychologist.

We hope then that you will find useful information on our website about us and our activities. We regularly update our pages, so please do keep returning to our site.

For more detailed information about what we do, go to About Us. Other links are below, but if you have any suggestions for what future events you would like us to organise or any issues you would like to raise, please feel free to contact us.

Finally, we hope that you can join us at our annual evening lecture and buffet supper, open to all members, and usually held in October each year. We were fortunate to have the current President, Pam Maras, speaking to us this year, about her research.
