Registrations are open for the 2013 British Psychological Society Annual Conference. The conference will be held at the Harrogate International Centre and Holiday Inn, Harrogate, 9-11 April 2013.
You can register via the Conference website, where you will find full details of the rates – including accommodation packages. Earlybird rates will be available until 28 February 2013.
The themes for our 2013 Annual Conference are:
- The typical and atypical mind across the lifespan
- Education, ethics and professional practice dilemmas in psychology
- The nature and diversity of social cohesion and attachment
High profile keynote speakers will enhance the programme timetable and there will be a mix of workshops, symposia, oral and poster presentations throughout the conference. Social activities and networking will also feature highly on the programme.
If you are interested in submitting your work to the conference, you will find full details of the process on the website. The deadlines for submission are 1 October 2012 for oral presentations, symposia and workshops, and 3 December 2012 for poster presentations.
For a taste of what Annual Conference is like see the review of our 2012 event by PhD students Faye Didymus and Laura Healy:
The Society Annual Conference was an invaluable experience for us and we were delighted by the diversity of research that was on offer. In particular, it provided us with a novel opportunity to be exposed to research that was outside of our areas of expertise.
