Guide to clinical psychology training
What is like to be on a particular clinical psychology training course? The Clearing House handbook and individual course websites give vital information, but they don't necessarily give the individual flavour of each course.
So our Division of Clinical Psychology’s Prequalification Group has produced The Alternative Handbook to give a consumer's view of each course. Updated each year, it can help guide applicants' decisions on where to apply and which offer to accept.
The 2012 edition carries entries on 30 different courses from Edinburgh to Plymouth. You can buy a copy through the BPS Shop – it is free to Division of Clinical Psychology members, £4.20 to Society members and £6.24 to others,
The opinions expressed by the students surveyed for The Alternative Handbook and by those providing comments are theirs alone, and do not reflect the opinions of the Society.
