The country's first regular Café Psychologique, held in Leeds in January, was a sell-out. The Seven arts venue in Chapel Allerton hosted 127 people for an evening of discussion about relationships, adolescence and financial advisors. Special guest was Dr Mark Willis, family therapist.
According to its Facebook page (tinyurl.com/6c9tsum), 'Café Psychologique allows you to think about life from a psychological and therapeutic perspective in good company, in an everday environment'. The Leeds Café Psychologique is hosted by Chris Powell, a group analyst. There is a small admittance fee.
