450 people set to attend Society event

The British Psychological Society's Psychology for All event appears to have proven a hit with the general public, as all of the tickets to the meet have now sold out.

Attending the gathering will be 450 guests, who will get the opportunity to listen to a number of speakers showcasing the variety and relevance of psychological research to everyday health and wellbeing.

The event is to take place on March 26th between 09:00 and 17:30 GMT at the University of Westminster.

Among the experts set to address the attendees are Professor Geoff Beattie - the former resident psychologist on Channel Four's Big Brother - and Professor Richard Wiseman, who was recently listed by the Independent on Sunday as one of the top 100 people who make Britain a better place to live.

Professor Wiseman is also due to appear at this year's Edinburgh Science Festival - which runs from April 9th to the 22nd - as a guest director.
