The British Psychological Society (BPS) have sponsored three events at the world famous Cheltenham Literature Festival, which starts next week.
There will be three events sponsored by the BPS held across the ten days of the Cheltenham Literature Festival, which begins on Friday 6 October.
The first of these will take place on the Festival's opening day, as Labour MP Rachel Reeves and author Gail Honeyman join Marisa Bate to unpick the problem of loneliness in our society. Called 'Loneliness: It's Time to Talk', this event will be held at The Sunday Times Garden Theatre from 2pm to 3pm on 6 October, with tickets costing £10 plus transaction fee and being available here.
Later on the same evening, Elizabeth Peel will be in conversation with Juno Dawson and CN Lester, two of the leading voices on transgender issues, in an event called 'Transgender Politics Today'. This will take place from 6:30pm - 7pm at the Town Hall Pillar Room, with tickets and further information available here.
The final BPS sponsored event of the Cheltenham Literature Festival will be held on Friday 13 October, as Jess Phillips joins Brendan Cox to discuss the values of togetherness, inclusion and compassion that defined the life of Brendan's late wife Jo, whose murder in 2016 shocked the country. Held at The Inkpot, further details and ticketing information on this event can be found here.
