Our revamped magazine The Psychologist represents more than a superficial change and here we outline some of the thinking behind it.
Our new look monthly publication The Psychologist has undergone a major revamp and BPS members will receive their first copy in the next couple of weeks.
In addition to a new size and higher production values, it has new formats and a different style of writing. Overall, it aims for a quality, professional, tactile and engaging reading experience.
The Psychologist Editor Dr Jon Sutton said:
It’s important that we reach out to diverse audiences in new ways, but we have been left with a nagging sense that we have neglected those BPS members who still like to hold The Psychologist in their hands, sit down with a cup of tea or flick through it on the bus. So this is a relaunch for them, the print lovers. The revamp has been made with our reader's feedback in mind and we are keen to receive any further thoughts."
They are also keen to find new contributers:
"More than ever we need writers who can engage and inform our large and diverse audience and our supportive process can bring you great rewards."
Not a BPS member and wondering how you can get hold of a copy of The Psychologist?
We have lots of different membership grades including Student and Affiliate for those who don't have the applicable qualifications but do have an interest in psychology.
