This guidance may be used by all practitioner psychologists in a variety of settings including (but not limited to) health and social care, forensic, educational and research.
This document is not a top-down set of rules to follow or ‘manual’, rather it aims to provide some ideas about how to work well with community organisations, community representatives and diverse partners but in a non-prescriptive way.
It also aims to encourage psychologists to be tolerant of uncertainty, giving permission not to know all the answers in advance and to take time to find out.
