Event on understanding persistent pain to take place in Guildford

Dr Julia Heath will give a talk at the University of Surrey in Guildford on 23 July, on the psychological contribution to our understanding of how to manage persistent physical pain.

Dr Julia Heath is the lead psychologist in the IPASS Service, an Integrated Pain and Spinal Service which operates at community or primary care level.

She will present on psychology's contribution as a key part of a multidisciplinary approach to managing persistent pain.

The event is free for both Society members and the general public, and would be useful for psychologists who work with clients who have persistent physical pain or other long term conditions where physical pain presents itself.
