Event to support early career psychologists

28 January 2019

The BPS is supporting early career psychologists with an event to offer guidance on some of the issues that affect them most.

Issues including funding and finding placements, and opportunities for networking with psychologists at a similar stage of their career, will be the focus of the event on 29 March.

In response to a recent survey of early years psychologists, four speakers will also offer advice on public engagement, funding and how to access BPS support. They are:

  • Dr Shelley McKeown Jones, Bristol University
  • Rupy Kaur, You Own It
  • Fraser Smith, Glasgow Caledonian University
  • Lisa Morrison Coulthard, BPS Head of Research and Impact

The event is open to all early career psychologists, including postdoctoral researchers, lecturers and practitioners, and is not restricted to members of the Society.

It is being held at the BPS’ London office on Tabernacle Street, close to Old Street underground station – attendance is free, but registration through our event page is required.
