28 October 2016

Bursaries are available for postgraduate students to cover registration fees for our 2017 Annual Conference.

Are you a postgraduate student who is giving a paper or poster at our 2017 Annual Conference in Brighton?

You may like to know you can apply for bursaries to attend the event if you are a BPS member.

Bursaries are available to cover conference registration fees and can be for single-day, two-day or three-day conference registration fees (excluding accommodation, dinners and the social programme).

To qualify for a bursary you must:

  • be a member of the British Psychological Society
  • have had a paper or poster accepted as part of the programme for the Annual Conference - you need not be the sole author
  • be meeting the travel and accommodation costs of attending the conference yourself
  • have booked to attend all or most of the conference - not just the session in which you are involved
  • the application form must be countersigned by the postgraduate’s supervisor or Head of Department.
  • be willing to write a review on an aspect of the conference, as specified by the Standing Conference Committee

The deadline for applications is 3 April 2017. Find details of how to apply on our 2017 Annual Conference pages.

The British Psychological Society’s Annual Conference takes place from the 3 to 5 May 2017 at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.
