Professor Kathryn Mitchell from the University of Derby is set to speak at a free event in the city on Wednesday 24 May.
The British Psychological Society (BPS) East Midlands Branch are set to hold their first Psychology in the City event this Wednesday at 67 Bridge Street in Derby.
Vice-chancellor of the University of Derby, Professor Kathryn Mitchell, will be speaking under the title Magic of Discovery II: Psychology in our City.
Professor Mitchell said:
“The talk will discuss insights into the breadth of psychological research and its impact on local and global communities. In particular, I will be addressing the impact of interdisciplinary research and the impact that students and researchers can play in the future of psychological research.”
The event is free, informal, and open to any members of the public with an interest in psychology.
