Welcome to the West Midlands Branch!
We represent over 4000 members of the BPS and cover a large geographical location: currently we represent members living in the following postcodes:
The aim of the branch is to provide information and events for psychologists, psychology students and professionals living in the West Midlands. Over the last 12 months the branch has hosted a number of successful Psychologist in the Pub events, helping branch members to meet and disseminate research and practice in a relaxed environment. We hope to continue with these events, and others, in the future.
We will update this website regularly to keep you notified of the branch’s activities so please check back regularly!

Announcement Email List
The branch has a membership announcement email list to inform members of activities and initiatives that are relevant and specific to our members as well as requests for engagement on topical issues.
Joining Society membership announcement emails lists is an automatic process and linked via your membership record, by being a member of the West Midlands Branch you are allocated to the announcement list. Your record must state your correct email and that you have opted in to receive email communications from the Society. It is therefore important to keep your society membership record up to date!
For further information and how to maintain your contact details please visit the online help centre.
We have also set up a West Midlands Branch Facebook and twitter accounts, intended to facilitate networking both with the committee and other local members - so please join us!
(so please read this - it's really important)
