The MSC Section aims to promote the advancement and diffusion of the use of mathematics, statistics and computing in psychology and to arrange conferences, meetings, lectures and discussions of special interest to psychologists working in the field.

How to join

In order to join the Mathematical, Statistical & Computing Section you must already be a member, affiliate or student subscriber of the British Psychological Society. Click here  for details on how to join the Society.

Annual membership of this Section is currently £10 and £6 for student members.

The BPS Maths, Stats and Computing Section fosters interest in a wide range of pertinent topics ranging from data analysis through mathematical perspectives on psychological issues to the computer simulation of psychological processes. 

We have created an email discussions list to facilitate networking and communication in the section. Please email Mathematical, Statistical & Computing Section putting your full name as the e-mail subject - no e-mail content is required.
