Division of Occupational Psychology

Student Prizes for Excellence

As part of the Division's committment to occupational psychology students, we will present three student awards each year. 

These awards recognise project outlines, submitted by students, judged to have made a valuable contribution to the field of occupational psychology.

1st Award:Full conference package to the next DOP Conference, and up to £150 towards travel.

2nd Award: Free daily admission to the next DOP Conference, and up to £150 towards travel and accommodation

3rd Award: Free daily admission to the next DOP Conference, and up to £150 towards travel and accommodation.

The awards will be presented at the DOP Annual Conference.

All winners should ensure that they are able to attend the conference.

Criteria

We welcome submissions from undergraduates, masters level and PhD students who are - or have undertaken - a Society accredited course or programme.

  • Must be a DOP member
  • Projects must represent past or current research, not planned.
  • The project must have been carried out within the past two years.
  • Work on current projects must have began and have - at least - preliminary findings.
  • Details of your project supervisor and their contact details are required.

You can submit a nomination using our online nomination form.

As part of the application process, we require a succinct summary of the project - no more than 2,000 words - with a clear indication of what has been achieved.

If required, the judges may subsequently ask for data to substantiate your findings.

You will also be asked to explain why the project is worthy of consideration.
