Pay Subscription Fees

Pay fees online

Subscription fees for Society and subsystems memberships, and a range of additional products and services for members can now be paid online.

Payment is made by credit or debit card via a safe, secure system. At present, full payments only can be made online; part payments are not possible.

Payment by cheque or credit card

Invoices are sent in November or December. Please pay promptly.

Payment by Direct Debit

Notices of impending direct debit are sent out a minimum of 2 weeks before the payment is taken. Members who pay by annual direct debit will have their main subscriptions taken at the end of January. Members who pay by direct debit receive a subscription reduction of £5.

Optional quarterly payments

This facility is available to members who pay by direct debit. There is a a quarterly payment supplement of £5 per annum. Quarterly Direct Debit Form

Please note: We will endeavour to reply to individual correspondence as quickly as possible, but please be aware that this may take slightly longer than usual at our peak times (December to February).

Payment due date

All membership subscriptions, fees and journal payments are due on 1 January each year. For Chartered Psychologists, Annual Practising Certificate fees are due on or around the anniversary of admission to the Register.

Principal change from 2007

Main Subscriptions have increased slightly for Graduate Members, Associate Fellows, Fellows and Ordinary Members for 2008.

Reductions to subscription fees

You may be entitled to a reduced Main Subscription rate under one of the Rules below. Download an application form or contact our Subscriptions Department for more information on the criteria for eligibility.

Income tax

The Inland Revenue has agreed to allow tax relief on all Society membership subscription fees, including Division, Section, Special Group and journal fees.
