Chartered Scientist Information
Credibility amongst your scientific peers
Professional recognition as a qualified scientist is now available through the British Psychological Society.
Increasingly as we work in interdisciplinary settings it is vital for Psychologists to have professional recognition that is applicable across a range of scientific disciplines.
A Chartered Scientist is a professional for whom the knowledge and skills acquired in an accredited scientific training are critical to his/her job competence. The designation, conferred on behalf of the Science Council, reflects best practice in science and is viewed as a benchmark qualification throughout the science professions in the UK.
