Holistic SIG Logo Welcome to the Holistic Faculty website

In November 2003, following a conference on holistic approaches within psychology, the idea arose for a Holistic Faculty within the DCP. The Faculty was granted official status the following year and held its inaurgural meeting in December 2004.

Since then our membership has grown and the Committee has met regularly to further the aims of the Faculty.

Our website is designed to provide information both about the Faculty and about holistic approaches that may be of interest to psychologists

 

Join the SIG Committee!

The SIG Committee is looking for nominations! Please see letter from our SIG Chair, Fara McAfee inviting members to consider joining the SIG committee Call for nominations 2008 .
Various roles are available and the main committment is to attend 2-3 meetings per year for which expenses are paid. You can contact Fara at fara.mcafee@nhs.net if you have any questions about specific posts. Voting will be done at the AGM at the forthcoming conference in Chesterfield (24th and 25th April).
