A core skill of health psychologists is the provision of teaching and training to healthcare practitioners across many different roles and disciplines.

It comprises a core competence required for stage 2 Health Psychology training and individuals are expected to be able to use a range of different techniques/approaches and importantly be able to tailor these appropriately to the characteristics of the individuals, groups or setting.

Join us and our guest speaker, Dr Wendy Maltinsky, for an introductory workshop which will present a variety of interactive approaches that can be incorporated into teaching and training sessions for healthcare professionals.

Who is this event intended for?

This event will be of interest to postgraduates and trainee health psychologists wishing to develop their skills and understanding of teaching/training approaches.

In particular it has been targeted at Stage 1 & 2 Trainee Health Psychologists, Health Psychologists in training, and relevant PhD students, as well as those with an interesting in teaching and training in psychology to health professionals.
