Conference Theme: ‘Making a difference, making ourselves known’
We are seeking submissions to the 3rdh BPS Qualitative Methods in Psychology conference, under the broad theme: ‘Making a difference, making ourselves known’. This theme addresses the place of qualitative methods in psychology and the wider society, but is intended to be invitational rather than prescriptive. We hope to see contributions that interpret it in varied and imaginative ways.
Alongside conventional individual papers. posters and symposia, we invite proposals in different formats that explore the successes and challenges of qualitative research in psychology. These could include workshops, arts-based presentations, five-minute challenge and so on. We also plan to include a ‘Pecha Kucha’ session – 20 slides each shown for 20 seconds per presentation – and would welcome contributions to this.
