Thursday 09 January, 11:00 to 12:40, the Alexandra Room
As part of the conference the DOP Conference Working Group invites you to formally converse to delegates about your own career experiences within Occupational Psychology at our Careers Forum. The Careers Forum provides a unique platform for Occupational Psychology representatives to present their professional career insights and expertise to our DOP conference delegates.
We are therefore keen for many experts in our field to give a 3-5 minute presentation at the Careers Forum about your organisation, current and future opportunities in your organisation and their own personal career experiences. The content of your speech at the Careers Forum could be about your own career or the career of your colleagues and information on the career prospects inside your own organisation. We enormously value your contribution, and that of your colleagues, in attending this event.
We are also inviting you to set up a stand to use during the open session of the Careers Forum in order to further engage in conversations to create work opportunities with our delegates. This should also help provide the ideal setting for you to showcase the work of your organisation to an audience keen to learn more about your business and opportunities within it. This opportunity is at no cost to you.
Benefits for you:
• Networking and building contacts with Occupational Psychologists, who are at differing stages of their career (from early career entrants to experienced practitioners);
This is a wonderful event to network your organisation with Occupational Psychologists, to provide valuable work opportunities, for you, as the employer, and for us, to enable our DOP conference delegates to have the chance to meet you in person.
