Approaching Borderline Personality
The Division of Counselling Psychology one-day conference on ‘Approaching Borderline Personality' will be held on Saturday 14th April 2012 at the BPS London office.
Building on the success of previous events this year we are aiming to offer an exploration into the complex field of working with clients who been labelled with the diagnosis ‘Borderline personality disorder'.
Outline timings for the day are 10.00 - 16.30
Dr Barbara Douglas
Barbara is a Chartered Psychologist, Registered Counselling Psychologist and Medical Historian. She currently works as Registrar for the British Psychological Society's Qualification in Counselling Psychology and in private practice. She received the BPS Professional Practice Board's 2012 Practitioner of the Year Award. Barbara is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Exeter and Vice Chair of the BPS Division of Counselling Psychology.
Professor Pam James
BSc., Cert.Ed., PhD., Dip. Couns. Psy., Cert.C.C. Relate; Chartered Psychologist and HPC Registered Counselling Psychologist; Senior Practitioner Status on the Register of Psychologists specialising in Psychotherapy.
Pam is Chair Elect of the Division and Chair of the Board of Assessors in Counselling Psychology.
Ms Claire John
HPC registered, BPS Chartered Psychologist and full member of the Division of Counselling Psychologist.
Claire works as an assessor and coordinator of training on the Qualification in Counseling Psychology and has lectured on Doctoral Programmes.
