BPS - Applications for Membership

Which Grade of Membership would you now like to apply for?

Below is a list of membership grades. Please choose an option for a more detailed description of eligibility requirements.

  • Affiliate - This grade is for those with an interest in psychology but no formal qualifications in the field

  • Student - This grade is for undergraduates studying psychology in the UK

  • Graduate Membership - This grade is for those with qualifications in psychology. Applications for Graduate Membership are automatically assessed for eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Registration.

  • Conditional Registration - This is for Graduate Members who are working towards Registration as a Chartered Psychologist

  • Registration as a Chartered Psychologist - This grade is for Graduate Members who have completed Society approved postgraduate training and practice in psychology

  • Associate Fellow

  • Divisional Membership only

  • Fellow
