International Relations Sub Committee

   

The International Relations Sub-Committee overall strategy is to share developments in international work and organisational psychology with DOP members and to promote the UK work and organisational psychology around the world.

The Sub-Committee has five main strategic strands:

Visibility
Represent DOP internationally:
  • On international bodies e.g EAWOP
  • Task forces and working parties
  • In lobbying EU and other bodies
Communication
Providing information about international initiatives which impact on DOP members and about international organisations and international working.
  • Developing resources on website
  • Using DOP publications
  • At conferences and events
Knowledge
Encourage international knowledge sharing
  • Encouraging international speakers at UK conferences
  • Encouraging UK speakers at international conferences
  • Promote papers from outside UK in UK publications
  • Promote UK publications in international journals
  • Share best practice and ethicshare best practice, knowledge and ethics among international psychological organisations
Membership
Provide information about international organisations and international working
Develop international practice skills (e.g. through symposia)

Identity
Support the development of Work and Organisational Psychology in other countries when appropriate
