Chiara is currently working as an Occupational Psychologist with The Keil Centre, progressing towards becoming Chartered in mid 2005. She works in the Human Factors team, specialising in helping organisation tackle work-related stress and reduce unsafe behaviour at work.
Chiara was brought up in Italy, but came over to Scotland in 1995 to study psychology at the University of Edinburgh ... and she's never gone back! After graduating she worked as a research associate at The Koestler Parapsychology Unit investigating human volition and willpower before moving to more applied work working with The Keil Centre. She completed her MSc in Occupational Psychology at Heriot Watt/Strathclyde Universities with a dissertation on stress and risk assessments. Current interests are emotion at work and the implications for the way we work and manage/ are managed.
