I graduated from Stirling University with a BSc in Psychology in 1993 and gained an MSc in Occupational Psychology in 2002 from attending Heriot-Watt/Strathclyde Universities. My Masters dissertation involved using neuropsychological test measures in the field of selection and development. I am a practitioner in training and am currently working towards writing up my experience for my chartership logbook.
I am currently employed by Case Management Services Ltd as a psychologist. We are a company providing a variety of psychology-related services. One of the elements of my job, which I feel particularly relates to occupational psychology, is that of coaching individuals with brain injury to fulfil their potential in terms of occupational and social roles.
I put myself forward to be a part of the DOP-S committee because I felt it was a chance to impact on the services offered by the division.
