GENERAL INFORMATION

Wednesday Evening (9th September 2009)

There will be a wine reception on the Wednesday evening at Café Lago on the Aston University campus. Following on from this we shall be eating out at a variety of restaurants around the city.
Birmingham has a fantastic range of restaurants with something for everyone. If you wish to join us for the evening meal, you will be asked to sign up for your choice of restaurant from a list when you arrive at the conference registration. Each party will be accompanied by a member of the DHP Committee and Local Organising Committee. After dinner, delegates are free to enjoy the city at their leisure, however for those delegates wishing to meet up near to the Accommodation there are two pubs very close to the campus.

Thursday Evening (10th September 2009)

The conference dinner is a three-course knife and fork buffet which will be held at the prestigious Banqueting Suite, part of the Birmingham Council House - a grade II listed building in the centre of Birmingham. This is an approximate ten minute walk from Aston University. The dinner will be followed by a DJ and dancing. http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/banquetingsuite
