The Fifth Annual BREATHE Workshop 2006: Consultancy - Why, When and Whom? (Now a One-Day Workshop)

Each year BREATHE organises a specialised workshop on a specific topic of interest to early career health psychologists. This year BREATHE has been reduced to a one day workshop. This will be led by Dr Sara Cox on the topic of consultancy. The
workshop will be relevant to anyone who would like to know more about working as a consultant in health psychology. The cost of the course will now be just £25 for DHP members and £30 for non-DHP members. It promises to be an interesting day. Reflection: closing the loop

The Division of Health Psychology Postgraduate Subcommittee invites you to attend a FREE satellite workshop
The use of reflective practice is a necessity for completing the Stage 2 portfolio. This workshop will therefore be useful for postgraduates currently undertaking or those who are about to embark on the Stage 2 qualification. The session will be facilitated by Dr Sheila Bonas (University of Leicester) and Dr Mark Forshaw (Staffordshire University). Sheila Bonas is Lecturer in Health Psychology at the University of Leicester. She uses both qualitative and quantitative research methods and has a special interest in the use of reflection to develop professional practice.Mark Forshaw (Chief Supervisor and Registrar for Stage 2) will be present to answer any questions about reflection with regards to the portfolio. The workshop will be an interactive session for trainee health psychologists that will explore:
• what do we mean by reflective practice in health psychology?
• what can it do for us?
• how can we can use it effectively?
Who can attend?
